October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Bluehost has gone pink! This month we’ve been joining organizations and individuals all over the country in the fight against breast cancer by donating a portion of our October proceeds to our local cancer center, Huntsman Cancer Institute, along with a ton of other activities to help spread awareness. As a part of the University of Utah Healthcare system, the Huntsman Cancer Institute is a National Cancer Institute-Dedicated Cancer Center and is the official cancer center for the state of Utah. By funding efforts to better understand and more effectively treat cancer, the Huntsman Cancer Institute strives to relieve suffering and improve the quality of life for cancer patients, survivors, and their families. Along with donating to HCI, we also spent October helping to spread awareness about the importance of breast cancer research and raise additional funds by adding banners to our website, posting on social media, making and selling t-shirts and hosting a Pink Day at Bluehost headquarters.
